Fontaine Estates Winery Wedding in Yakima, Washington | Alex + Jace

We have some stunning Virginia wedding venues, but I dare say that Washington takes the cake on mountain wedding venues with a view! Alex & Jace tied the knot at Fontaine Estates Winery, a beautiful winery just outside of Yakima, tucked among rolling hills and vineyards. I will forever remember their engagement session as a strangely beautiful day for being in the middle of December (high of 65!), so it came as no surprise that their wedding day turned out to be just as beautiful, with full sun and zero chance of rain!

Three things stood out to me about this sweet day. The first, that Alex & Jace chose to spend the last 30 minutes before their ceremony with their closest friends in a devotional time, surrendering the day, and their marriage, to the Lord. It was beautiful to hear the tearful prayers and blessings prayed over them just moments before they exchanged vows. The second, that they were forever willing to do what it took to get the best portraits possible! They did their first look on an orchard mountaintop in Tieton, WA, 20 minutes from Fontaine Estates Winery, and braved some crazy wind for beautiful views! Not only was it GORGEOUS, but it allowed them to have a quiet moment together before the craziness of the day began! And the third, my favorite part, was watching the friendship shared among those in their bridal party. Alex and Jace are high school sweethearts, so their bridal party was essentially one big friend group, which is SO rare (often the bridesmaids & groomsmen don’t know each other!) and it made the day such a blast! To top it off, a few in the bridal party are childhood friends of mine, and one of the bridesmaids happens to be my sister! Needless to say, we had so much fun with this one!!

Alex & Jace, we are SO honored to have been a part of this beautiful day! You guys bring out the best in each other, and are clearly such a blessing to those around you. We’re so excited for you to finally be in this new season, cheers to married life!!
