I love when I meet another couple who has been together for what feels like forever! Alexis and Zach have been together for 5 years and counting, and there’s no question that they truly are best friends. It all began at George Mason University, their freshman year of college. One month after being introduced, Zach asked Alexis to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!
When it came time for the bigger question, Zach knew exactly where would be most meaningful. Belmar, New Jersey was Alexis’ home away from home, where she spent all of her childhood summers, and they were visiting together in the fall. As they made their way down the boardwalk, he knelt down on one knee, and forever began in that little beach town!
I absolutely loved spending the morning with these two. We woke up in the wee hours of the morning to catch the sunrise light and galavanted around the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. It was a mere 30 degrees (Spring where are you?!) but they handled it with such ease. These are some of my favorites of the morning!
