They are officially married!! I had the privilege of walking through the entire wedding season with Zack and Courtney, from the engagement session, to Courtney’s bridal portraits (coming soon!!), to the day they finally tied the knot, and it was seriously so much fun! The year was filled with planning, count downs, and getting excited when Courtney said yes to the dress… these two became genuine friends in the process and it was such a joy to be a part of it all!

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, the weather was calling for rain all day. We had a game plan just in case, but still prayed that God might do a little something about those clouds. We prayed for sun, but He gave us something even better. It was cloudy in the morning, which meant the high sun didn’t cast a glare, and we had more portrait location options! Then at 4:00, right as we began their sunset portraits, the clouds cleared and gave way to the sunset, giving us glowy, golden sunlight. It had God’s fingerprints all over it!

It was, however, still very cold, and Zack and Courtney handled it like total champs. Even as the weather dropped to the 20’s, they chose to do their portraits outside in the natural light, and I’m so glad they did because the light was perfect! You would NEVER know from their portraits how cold it really was, they were such troopers. All in all, it was a beautiful day, everyone there was so genuinely happy for them! There was plenty of laughter, tears of joy, and of course, dancing. Special shout out to the bridal party for knowing how to throw down a serious dance off.

Zack and Courtney, I have had SO much fun walking through this season with you!! Cheers to a new and even more fun season of marriage!
