These two! I have a special place in my heart for Zack and Courtney because I’ve had the privilege of capturing their entire story, from engagement session, to Courtney’s bridal portraits, to their winter wedding. It’s hard to believe it has already been a year since they tied the knot! When Courtney reached out about doing an anniversary session, I was thrilled, not only to capture more of their story but just to get to see them again!
We spent the morning in Occoquan, because it is particularly meaningful to their story. Zack proposed to Courtney at the little white gazebo, Courtney found her wedding dress in town at LaBella Bridal Boutique, and their stationary designer, Hitchcock Paper Co., is located there as well! It was the perfect place to capture their anniversary. It was cold, but only fitting as their wedding day was even colder! They didn’t miss a beat, like their wedding day, and it was such a joy to spend the morning with them. Zack and Courtney, I am truly honored to have been a part of your entire story, what a gift to be your photographer! Cheering for you guys and all that God has in store for you this next year!
